Crowd screamed as Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier said on stage “It’s more fun in the Philippines,” during their concert last January 12, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Seb Lefebvre, guitarist of SP, also tweeted “Everything is more fun in the Philippines. I believe it now!”
More photos from the show to be posted on MY FB page and on Dayly’s.

National Artist Napoleon Abueva, dubbed as the Father of Modern Philippine Sculpture, is in dire need of blood donors after a bladder rupture.
Please contact Amihan Abueva at 0917-801-8166.
For the information of my fellow Isko’s and Iska’s, this is the man behind the replicas of the Oblation in several U.P. chapters: Los Baños, Baguio, Tacloban, Miag-ao and Mindanao, as well as the Nine Muses (Ang Mga Diwata ng Sining) in U.P. Diliman, among others.

Passing on Dennis Garcia’s take on the new Department of Tourism’s (DOT) ‘fun’ slogan. Mind you, Dennis is über-talented! Founder and lyricist of the famed Hotdog band in the 1970s, he is also a bass player, filmmaker, an artist and professionally, an advertising Creative Director with stints

KAMIKAZEE’S DRUMMER BORDS PROPOSED TO HIS GIRLFRIEND IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS AT THE TANDUAY RHUM ROCKFEST 2011!

What happened here: Jay asked Bords’ girlfriend to get on stage and take their picture with the crowd doing the OK sign. He said they will post it on their fb page and tag each and everyone in the audience! And so everybody did! Haha Then boom! Surprise! Bords is on his knees popping the question!

The crowd cheered, she said yes, they kissed, they hugged and everyone was happy!

Congratulations to them!

More photos from the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest 2011 soon!

Aaaaand the Flaming Onion Skinned Pinoys are at it again…
The pseudo nationalistic Pinoys are all over this foreigne’rs blog on how terrible Manila is.
“Manila itself is a shambles. The traffic is AWFUL (I seem to be using a lot of capital letters in this post) and nothing has been added to shops or other amenities (whereas e.g. Bangkok has transformed itself into an almost livable city). Look: people will say the Filipino people are nice, and indeed they are polite – we Brits might say “smarmy” – obsequious or ingratiating are maybe less pleasant words. But they do try. That does take the edge off the sheer misery of a crumbling, filthy, depressing city and an economy that exists only on the remittances of the smart ones who have left.”
Not exactly a lie, & yet some Pinoys are all up in arms in defending our nation’s honor by typing in all caps & hurling incoherent insults towards the blogger. Kung gusto niyo ipagtangol ang dangal ng bansa at ON TOPIC, magsulat kayo ng comment na pinagisipan, huwag mo patunayan sa ibang lahi na inutil ang mga Pinoy.
